My take on this is that the pulpit is the place to simply teach the Word of God verse by verse,
chapter by chapter, book by book. I truly believe that as Pastors teach from Genesis to
Revelation all the issues of life will be preached on and Christians
will learn what God's perspective is on it all.We can not solve our nations problems with a political solution, but only with a spiritual solution, which is why now more than ever Pastors and Bible teachers need to preach the Gospel and point people to Jesus.
2 Timothy 4:2 says "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching."
