I did something new, and really it turned out to be a simple way to witness. I decided to put a tract in all of the mail boxes that came my way as I went for a walk with my dog. Hopefully I didn't break any laws, but I think they would only find my guilty of delivering mail without postage.
Well I also got to go downtown to the Saturday morning market again, and handed out over a hundred tracts. I got to give one to my insurance agent, and a previous coworker. I knew I was there for a reason. One man threw a tract back at me because he seemed to be insulted that he wasn't a "good person". Praying for all there souls!
I never really go to a party but went to one because some friends of ours from church came back to town to visit. While I was there I got to had a different friend a CD of "One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven" by Mark Cahill, which is an mp3 of his book. He had been looking for more inspiration on how to share his faith, and I got to encourage him to be bold.
Yet I didn't want to leave the party before I had a chance to talk to everyone there because I felt I needed to talk to someone there. The Lord directed me to a guy sitting on the couch and we had a great conversation and I found out that he wasn't saved. Imagine that being at a Christian party with church friends and everyone is so busy talking about themselves they miss out on sharing the Gospel.
Well we got to go through the Law and the Prophets and talk about prophecy being fulfilled with Israel, and those yet to come. I got to leave him with a tract called "Why Christianity?" which is a booklet that shows the difference between Christianity and other major religions. It doesn't put them down, but uses a simple analogy to show why Christianity is above the rest big time.
Everyday is a missions trip, are you ready?
